AMAN IWAN REVIEW

The Aman Iwan publication aims to establish a platform federate different territories and actors, creating a global network through the association of local microcosms. The ambition is to make it into a decisive leverage tool for architects and local stakeholders to achieve built projects on a long-term basis.

The publication has four main objectives: 1- to identify and diffuse knowledge. 2- to raise awareness among the readers and the collective’s network. 3- to give a voice to local populations, exterior collaborators and members of Aman Iwan. 4- to initiate a dialog with local populations, in order to establish a collaboration on potential built projects. With the first publication already available in French in libraries, the challenge consists of consolidating the network of collaboration, diffusion and distribution, with the knowledge and expertise from actors from different fields to produce a versatile and committed object. Ideally, being able to diffuse all the gathered knowledge and issues about territories and population in different languages and through a committed, participative online platform is our objective.

Super Inspiring, love the idea of knowledge exchange across nations and different local realities! Definitely an initiative I would like to support

Thank you Giulia! We were very attached to the physical format but are now working on also launching an online version, to be available in different languages. Should be more accessible then!
